Enjoy a e-bike tour on lake Orta

We have chosen some hiking itineraries starting from our Camper Lago d'Orta:
- Area Camper Lago d'Orta -> "laghetti di Nonio"
A pleasant journey of about 1h starting from the soccer pitch next to our Camper Area. The trail is well marked and proceeds along a rocky spur running along the lake shore.
After the powerhouse proceed right following signs for Brolo. Go beyond the stream and within a few minutes we get in Oira.
Going up to the asphalted road you get to Nonio and from there follow the signs for "laghetti di Nonio"
To return to Omegna: the small chapel to hold the right and enter into the woods again, after about 200 m you reach the soccer pitch of Brolo.
Cross over the country go down on left along the provincial way than continue on right and take the short staircase leading in road "Bruno Belch", so follow the way in the village and go down along a short path that leads down close to the lake, turn left and after 500 m we get back to the football field next to the Area Camper lake Orta
- Area Camper Lake orta-> Oira -> Ronco -> Pella
Continuing along the same route over Oira we reach Ronco Superiore, a small village called "the Portofino of Lake Orta", and finally Pella.
From here you can walk back or get on board with pubblic service of Navigazione Lago d'Orta and return to Omegna by boat; departure at 18.20 from downtown Pella, arriving Omegna on the lakeside at 19.10.

Omegna - Agrano - Mottarone
Hiking for experts
altitude 1150 m
Starting from the parking of Madonna del Popolo's Church in Omegna we climb following the signs to "Alpe Barba".
-> we reach Alpe Mastrolino (548m) after 30 minutes
-> Alpe Barba after 1h15 minutes
-> the top of Mottarone (1491m) after a total of 4 hours
From the top of the Mottarone (1491 m) you have a panorama on the lakes Orta, Maggiore, Mergozzo (Piedmont) Varese, Monate, Comabbio and Biandronno (Lombardia).
Remarkable is Monte Rosa (4634 m) between the highest peaks of the Western Alps.
The area Mottarone is equipped of restaurants, parking, ski slopes, rock walls for climbing as well as many well-marked trails by CAI.
You can reach the Mottarone also by bicycle, for the most trained, climbing from Stresa (passage to pay) or from Armeno achievable it from Camper Lake Orta following the coastal Pettenasco - Orta San Giulio way.
